Secure Pages

Secure pages allows you to restrict access to specific areas of your website using your institution's Single Sign-On (SSO) system. Only authenticated users who exist within the configured SSO provider can access protected content.

Secure pages requires a configured SSO system. Users must be authenticated through the SSO provider and belong to an authorized group to access protected content.

The standard Secure Pages offering includes:

Protected Paths

Each account includes up to 10 protected paths.

A protected path can be:

• A folder
• A specific file path

Recommendation: Protect folders whenever possible. Folder-based protection is easier to manage and automatically secures all content within the folder.

Protected paths are allocated per site. If your institution has multiple sites, each site receives its own allocation of 10 protected paths.

Access Groups

Each site includes up to 10 access groups.

Access groups determine which authenticated users can access protected content. These groups are mapped from your institution's SSO system and cannot be increased.

Examples of access groups include:

• Faculty
• Students
• Math Department
• Staff
• Alumni

You can assign one or more groups to a protected path to control access.

Additional paths are sold in bundles of 10 protected paths and may be purchased multiple times as needed.
