Persona Guides Field Descriptions

Code

The internal ID assigned to the Persona.

Name

The name assigned to the Persona

Display

The display order assigned to the Persona

Active

The Persona status (Active/Inactive). Inactive personas will not be publicly visible.

Action menu. Click to Edit or Delete a Persona

Description

Name

Enter a name for the persona description. This name will be displayed on the Persona card.

Active

Select to determine if the persona is actively in use. When active, this persona will be displayed on the Public View page

Page Link

Enter the page link for the persona. When this persona is clicked, users will be redirected to this page.

Display Order

The display order of the persona on the Public View will be determined based on the number entered here. You can enter a number up to 10 characters. Persona are displayed in the order of smallest to largest.

Note: You can also enter a decimal or negative number to determine display order.

Short Description

Enter a short description for the persona.

Image

URL

Provide an absolute URL for the image to be displayed on the persona card.

Note: Recommended image dimensions: square and at least 150 x 150 pixels.

Alt Text

Provide an alternative text (short description) for the image.

Note: This is a required field if the image URL is entered.

Save

Click Save to publish and apply the persona across all instances of Persona Guides. A notification will be presented informing changes were saved successfully.

Reset

Click to reset the settings before Save. A notification will be presented informing changes were reset.

Font & Color

Default Font

The default font to be used in all school Persona Guides.

Primary Color

The color to be used in all Persona Guides. This sets the color for all persona cards, the border, and the title area.

Advanced

Language Translation

Select the language translation for the Persona Guides page. Options available are English, French Canadian, and Mexican Spanish. Available only if your school has licensed the Modern Campus Lifelong Learning Extended Education Language Pack.

Custom CSS Path

Provide an absolute path to your hosted CSS (stylesheet) file to be applied to the Persona Guides page. A starter CSS override file is available for download to get started from the embed page in the Staff View.

Click the COPY EMBED CODE button to copy the Persona Guide embed HTML code on any page in your Pathways-allowed domains.

Note: To show Persona Guides below the search box on the main Career and Program Explorer landing page enable the Persona Guides option on the Career and Program Explorer Embed Code.
